My Hi-Des HV-110 is very happy with the signal, something that the Pluto+ wasn't able to achieve. I do have one problem though. When I hit the Stop button, the signal shuts down but the Tx led on the HackRF remains on. I am unable to restart the Tx again until I reset power on the HackRF. I had read about this problem several years ago with other software but this was fixed with updated firmware long ago. Mine is a recent purchase with 2023/1/1 firmware, so well beyond the problem firmware. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Merci

First, congratulate Dominique once again for surpassing himself every day. I have the same problem with the HackRF, only the first transmission works, then when I stop the TX (led) stays on and it no longer transmits until I restart the HackRF and the DATV-Esy again, I wish I had programming knowledge to help with this , I am a big fan of the HackRF and for its price it is the best option for many people. Thank you

Hello

I have DATV Express hardware. I use it with FreeStreamCoder 3.01. In preparation for my new local repeater I tested firstly the DATV Express software 1.25LP14 and using VMix as the video and audio source.

DATV Express itself provides a successful signal at 1Mega Symbol but the sound is delayed from the video which cannot be fixed with a software in line audio delay, as the sound is already late.

So I tried FreeStreamCoder 3.01 and there the audio is early so I can easily add 930mSec audio delay and we have perfect lip sync.

At first this seemed a good solution but the DATV Express TX buffer quickly runs out in 15 seconds and carrier lock drops. Interestingly this problem only occurs over 500KSymbols, so I hadn't previously seen a problem using my set up with QO100.

I have an older modified version of DATV Express 1.261 and on there the TX buffer is running at 0,1,2,3 which gives a very short break in the sound, and that version the power output is 6dB lower. However it is usable.

So given the above issues can I do away with DATV Express software and use DATV-Easy instead?

At the moment no, as the DATV Express hardware is not on the list for DATV-Easy.

Is it possible to add DATV Express Hardware to the DATV-Easy options please?
