Problem with fresh windows 7 install

I have Minitiouner working nicely on anotherWin 7 machine but needed to build another working rx on a Dell Optiplex 580 Win 7 pro.

I did as before but keep running into 'cannot use video renderer' and the graph button is red on the display so I have clearly messed up the following.

The installation passes all other tests and I can hear audio etc.

///////
2. You have now 3 steps to do :
a) Download and installation of GraphStudioNext
go to : https://code.google.com/p/graph-studio-next/
Download the last version.
There is no installation..
This software will allow you to read the .grf files used by Minitioune. These are graphs that show us the structure of decoding and rendering TS data.
This software will help yyou to install easily Directshow filters like usrc.ax
/////////////

Not sure where these files should be installed or how to use the application as I read elsewhere this maybe the problem.

It may also be due to the Dell Optiplex 580 VGA graphics adapter or driver ?

Any help greatly appreciated

EDIT - managed to use graphstudionext to register usrc.ax - but still no joy and the graph button shows red :-(

found this in another thread and indeed my VGA card driver is using the generic windows driver - so will try and find something more suitable.

Using a graphic card X, if you use a generic Windows driver, you will not access to a "Video Mixing renderer".
So we absolutely need a good/recent specific driver for the graphic card.

yes you need to instal the specific driver for your graphic card.
The generic Windows driver doesn't accept the use of the "Video Mixing renderer" that Minitioune uses.

success - that was the problem.

The correct driver took a bit of tracking down but had the desired result :-)
